29 – How This Pharmacist Used Her Health Economics and Outcomes Research Fellowship to Catapult Her Career in Industry

On today’s episode of Brown Skin Stories: Representing Women Pharmacists, I have the pleasure of sitting down with Dr. Jacqueline Blanche Palmer, an Associate Director of Peer to Peer Marketing at Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation.

Jacqueline holds a Doctor of Pharmacy from the Rutgers Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy and Master’s in Business Administration through Rutgers University with a concentration on marketing. She completed a two-year post-doctoral fellowship through the University of Maryland Pharmaceutical Health Services Department where she worked on quantitative and qualitative projects.

In her current role as an Associate Director of Peer to Peer Marketing at Novartis, Jacqueline is responsible for strategic and tactical areas of focus, including the development of both branded and unbranded disease awareness content.

Jacqueline sits on the executive committee of Women in Science, an organization that promotes the success of women in the sciences, and volunteers with an organization called Students to Science that brings science experiments to children in underprivileged areas. She’s truly passionate about education and the power of dreaming big.
